This year, several high-profile movies with big stars are scheduled to release, and such releases would generate enough noise. Among such releases, one is OG by Sujeeth featuring Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
Scheduled for a September 27, 2024 release, much hype has been seen for OG. However, Pawan Kalyan who also serves as the deputy chief minister of the state, was busy with electoral duties during the recent Andhra Pradesh elections and the movie's production got pushed back. It is said that a couple of other projects too got stalled.
Whether to release it during summer or on December has been a question in the minds of many. Now, the film's producer, DVV Danayya, lately came up with an update regarding this issue.
Such instances point out that, with most of the promotion events for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which stars Natural Star Nani and will hit screens before August 29, fans are loud enough in asking about OG. Dvv Danayya who is also producing Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, had been asked numerous times about his plans regarding the release of OG, when he was promoting his film.
Currently, OG has only a small part to be shot. Majority of the film was shot in Hyderabad, while the unit is now shifted to Vijayawada. The another update comes concerning the long pending four-year-old film Harihara Veeramallu under Krish Jagarlamudi directorial venture. There were strong rumors that this film might end in cancellation. Pawan Kalyan is said to be committed towards the completion of the movie.
