Google To Launch Operations In Visakhapatnam Due To Lokesh Efforts CM Chandrababu

CM Chandrababu Naidu said that chances are there in every moment of crisis. In an address at the Collectors' Conference held at the Secretariat, Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu said that leadership is all about creating opportunities in trying circumstances. He said that such public awareness strengthens democracy while appreciating the conference for overhauling government policies.

Google MoU Sets Stage for Development in Visakhapatnam

Pointing to a key milestone, Chief Minister declared that a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed to develop a Google facility in the city. He attributed the Minister, Lokesh, for having played an instrumental role in helping this milestone come true. "Smart work, not just hard work, makes the progress," said Chandrababu Naidu about this association.

Economic Development through Policies and Projects

Chandrababu Naidu updates on the developmental projects in the state:

  • Job Creation: The government aims at creating 20 lakh jobs by formulating 20 new policies.
  • Amaravati Development: ₹31,000 crores have been so far collected to build the capital of the state.
  • Polavaram Project: The government has targeted the completion of the Polavaram irrigation project by 2027.

Social Welfare and Infrastructure Goals

The Chief Minister elaborated on welfare programs and infrastructure priorities:

  • Pensions: Andhra Pradesh is doing the best in pensions, where three months' advance payment is paid to pensioners.
  • Gas cylinders: Through Deepam-2, 40 lakh have received free gas cylinders.
  • Education: Vacant teacher posts will be filled before schools open in the next year.
  • Land issues: Steps are being taken to sort out land complaints that form over 60 per cent of grievances.

Road Infrastructure and Long-Term Growth

Chandrababu Naidu instructed officials to make sure all the roads under Roads and Buildings Department are free from potholes by Sankranti, as well as vision for 15% growth over the next 20 years, suggesting that targeted effort has to be made in solving problems across key departments.
