New Registration Values Set To Take Effect From January 1st 2025

The government has decided to roll out new registration values in all towns and villages from January 1, 2025. The government has decided to roll out the same simultaneously, and the values are likely to increase between 10% and 15% considering the regional development and other factors. The authorities are fighting for equity and making sure that the revised values were done in a systematic scientific manner without the disparities of the YSRCP regime.

Apart from the registration value revision, structural values also call for a revision. These are made by the District Joint Collector in strict light and under his guidelines.

Public Feedback Invited on Revised Values

From 20 December 2024, these proposals for the new values would be put up on notice boards at Sub-Registrar offices. Objections and suggestions by the citizens can be presented before 24 December 2024. Thenceforth, all of the inputs will be looked into and finalized by December 27, 2024.

Directives Issued to Ensure Smooth Implementation

State Registration and Stamps Department IG Seshagiri Babu has issued instructions to the district registrars to take all the necessary measures to implement new values from January 1, 2025 as per government guidelines. With this, some of the inequalities that have gone into the registration values under the previous government are being tried to redress. The administration of NDA wants this system to be transparent as well as balanced for each region.
