India Home Season 202627 Schedule And Match Details

The BCCI has published its complete schedule for home matches during the upcoming season.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the schedule for India’s 2026–27 home cricket season. Four international teams will tour India during this period:

  • West Indies cricket team
  • Sri Lanka national cricket team
  • Zimbabwe national cricket team
  • Australia national cricket team

The season will begin on September 27, 2026, and will end on March 3, 2027. A total of 22 international matches will take place across 17 cities in India.

India will focus its attention on One Day International matches while scouting its most important athletes.

India will play nine One Day Internationals (ODIs) during the home season. These matches serve as essential practice matches which help teams prepare for the upcoming World Cup.

The audience will see senior players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli who maintain their dedication to One Day International cricket.

Match Timings (IST)

  • T20 matches: 7:00 PM
  • ODI matches: 2:00 PM
  • Test matches: 9:30 AM

Series vs West Indies

India will start the season with a series against the West Indies cricket team.

ODIs

  • 1st ODI: September 27 – Thiruvananthapuram
  • 2nd ODI: September 30 – Guwahati
  • 3rd ODI: October 3 – New Chandigarh

T20 Matches

  • 1st T20: October 6 – Lucknow
  • 2nd T20: October 9 – Ranchi
  • 3rd T20: October 11 – Indore
  • 4th T20: October 14 – Hyderabad
  • 5th T20: October 17 – Bengaluru

Series vs Sri Lanka

India will host the Sri Lanka national cricket team in December.

ODIs

  • 1st ODI: December 13 – Delhi
  • 2nd ODI: December 16 – Bengaluru
  • 3rd ODI: December 19 – Ahmedabad

T20 Matches

  • 1st T20: December 22 – Rajkot
  • 2nd T20: December 24 – Cuttack
  • 3rd T20: December 27 – Pune

Series vs Zimbabwe (2027)

The Zimbabwe national cricket team will tour India in January 2027.

ODIs

  • 1st ODI: January 3 – Kolkata
  • 2nd ODI: January 6 – Hyderabad
  • 3rd ODI: January 9 – Mumbai

Test Series vs Australia

India will face the Australia national cricket team in a five-match Test series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Test Matches

  • 1st Test: January 21–25 – Nagpur
  • 2nd Test: January 29 – February 2 – Chennai
  • 3rd Test: February 11–15 – Guwahati
  • 4th Test: February 19–23 – Ranchi
  • 5th Test: February 27 – March 3 – Ahmedabad
