The T20 World Cup semi-final will take place at Wankhede Stadium featuring India and England as competing teams. The match will take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Michael Vaughan, a former England cricketer, gave the Indian team an important suggestion about their next match.
He recommended that Team India should start Kuldeep Yadav in their crucial match.
Vaughan’s Suggestion on Team Selection
Vaughan believes that England will face difficulties against Kuldeep Yadav bowing. According to his situation analysis, English bowlers encounter difficulties when facing Kuldeep's outstanding bowling technique.
He doubted for what reason both Tilak Varma and Shivam Dube needed to bat at the lower order of the batting order. Vaughan recommended that India should replace one of their players with Kuldeep Yadav for the match.
He also mentioned a concern. Kuldeep has not played many matches recently. Vaughan cannot determine the spinner's present performance because of his recent match inactivity. Even so, he believes Kuldeep could still be effective against England.
Vaughan studied Gautam Gambhir's strategic plan which he developed for his Indian cricket team. He said Gambhir prefers a batting-heavy lineup in T20 cricket.
According to Vaughan, the team management needs to maintain strong batting options from positions seven through nine. Vaughan believes that his recommendation will not get executed because of this method.
