Andhra Pradesh Leads In Micro Irrigation Implementation

The state achieved the highest rank among all United States states

  • Andhra Pradesh secured the first position in India in the implementation of micro irrigation projects. Chief Minister Chandrababu shared this update and expressed satisfaction with the achievement.
  • The state exceeded its targets for the financial year 2025–26. Officials established micro irrigation systems on 1.26 lakh hectares of land. This achievement established a new record of coverage. Gujarat had second place with its 1.05 lakh hectare coverage.
