Andhra Pradesh secured the first position in India in the implementation of micro irrigation projects. Chief Minister Chandrababu shared this update and expressed satisfaction with the achievement.
The state exceeded its targets for the financial year 2025–26. Officials established micro irrigation systems on 1.26 lakh hectares of land. This achievement established a new record of coverage. Gujarat had second place with its 1.05 lakh hectare coverage.
