Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was left severely devastated by the tragic bus accident that occurred in the Kurnool district. He termed the accident as very saddening and expressed condolences to the families of the victims. He also prayed for the quick recovery of the injured passengers.
Pawan Kalyan directed the officials to take all necessary steps in order to ensure that such accidents would not occur in the future. He also emphasized the importance of enforcing safety regulations and strict checking of public transport vehicles.
The accident happened in the early hours of Friday when a Vemuri Kaveri Travels bus traveling from Hyderabad to Bangalore caught fire after colliding with a motorcycle. The fire killed 19 people. Firefighters and emergency responders came to the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue the remaining passengers.
