AP Minister Nara Lokesh Strengthens Ties With Western Sydney University

Meeting with University Officials

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh continued to be on his official tour of Australia with a visit to Western Sydney University (WSU). On the occasion, he met with senior university officials and agricultural technology researchers. The meeting was all about precision farming and agriculture modernization in Andhra Pradesh.

Lokesh called upon WSU to collaborate with Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University for the purpose of strengthening agricultural education and research. He proposed collaborative training programs for farmers and agriculturalists to enable them to adopt smart farming and agri-tech innovations.

Focus on Research and Innovation

The minister invoked Andhra Pradesh university collaboration for sustainable water management projects. He emphasized setting up centers for innovation that could trigger the emergence of smart irrigation systems and AI-driven farming solutions.

Interaction with Australian Seafood Industry

Lokesh also met with representatives of the Australian seafood sector. They discussed the matters of aqua exports between Andhra Pradesh and Australia. The minister eagerly anticipated partnership possibilities that would build the state's aquaculture industry robust and enlarged.
