Chief Minister's Cyclone Preparedness Teleconference

Following Cyclone Montha, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu conducted a teleconference with coalition MPs, ministers, and MLAs. He instructed them to provide all possible help to the cyclone-affected people. He stressed that the party workers and leaders have to remain available and help residents in all ways they can.

Relief Measures and Central Coordination

Chandrababu directed all coalition activists to take part actively in relief and rescue efforts. He added that if the need arose, the state government would ask the central government for help. The Chief Minister said that the administration's top concern is safeguarding lives and reducing property loss.

Government Preparedness and Public Safety Measures

He added Cyclone Montha could make landfall between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam tonight. The government is sending live alerts to the people through SMS. Officials have been directed to deploy preventive measures to safeguard crops from being damaged. In the regions expected to receive heavy rain and flash floods, NDRF and STRF teams have already been activated to tackle emergencies effectively.
