Fly91 Launches Flight Service From Vijayawada To Hyderabad

New Regional Air Service Inaugurated

• Union Minister Rammohan Naidu inaugurated a new flight service between Vijayawada and Hyderabad. He conducted the launch virtually from his camp office in Srikakulam.
• Fly91 operates the service which launched its operations after its founding in 2024. The minister noted that the airline is expanding steadily under the UDAN regional connectivity scheme. He also stated that the airline is improving air travel access across southern India.

Expansion Plans and Airport Development

The minister announced that Fly91 will provide 22 flight operations which include both arrivals and departures that will operate from Hyderabad beginning on the 17th of this month.

He also shared future expansion plans:

• New routes to Dubai
• Services to Varanasi
• Connections to Kochi
• Additional destinations under planning

He added that airport development work is progressing quickly at:

• Vijayawada Airport
• Rajamahendravaram Airport
• Kadapa Airport

He also mentioned the Bhogapuram International Airport project in Visakhapatnam. Construction is expected to finish by June, with a possible inauguration in July by the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.

Service Details and State-Level Launch

State Minister Kollu Ravindra officially launched the service. He handed boarding passes to passengers during the event. Kommareddy Pattabhiram also attended the launch.

Fly91, a Goa-based airline, focuses on regional connectivity across India. The airline will begin its first route to Hyderabad from:

• Vijayawada
• Rajamahendravaram

The daily flight from Vijayawada to Hyderabad will follow this schedule:

• Departure from Vijayawada: 7:30 AM
• Arrival in Hyderabad: 8:40 AM

Officials confirmed that an additional service on this route will begin operations from April 17.
