LPG And Oil Shipments Arrive At Visakhapatnam Port

Steady Arrival of LPG Tankers Brings Relief

Continuous delivery of LPG and oil tankers to Visakhapatnam Port has eliminated fuel shortage fears. People held concerns that supply would face interruptions because of rising tensions within West Asia. The present ship movement maintains steady product distribution.

On Thursday, BW Birch delivered 24000 metric tons of LPG to the coast. Friday has been established as the day when authorities will begin unloading operations.

Three additional LPG carriers are currently approaching the port:

  • Hellas Gladiator (cargo loaded in the Netherlands) will arrive on the 30th Jupiter (cargo loaded in the United States) will also arrive on the 30th

The following ships arrived earlier:

  • Lupinus, carrying 22,000 tonnes, arrived from the UAE on the 26th of last month Al Wukir, carrying 26,000 tonnes, arrived from Qatar on the 3rd of this month
  • These shipments support steady LPG supply in the region.

Updates on Diesel and Crude Oil Supply

  • Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) maintains ongoing fuel supply operations at the port.
  • The MV Samar Shruti ship currently sits at anchor while it delivers 65000 tonnes of high-speed diesel The MV Swarna Sindhu tanker will reach the port within the next two days.
  • A sizable crude oil delivery will take place this week.
  • A vessel carrying 136728 tonnes of crude oil from Russia will arrive by Friday

The following vessels are expected to arrive at the port:

  • Foundea (from Russia) on the 2nd of next month Desh Gaurav (from Mundra Port) on the 5th of next month
  • Visakhapatnam received ten oil tankers which arrived between the first of this month and the twenty-fifth According to reports these ships originated from Iraq Russia Qatar the UAE and Indian ports.

Shipments at Other Indian Ports

Fuel shipments are also arriving at other major ports:

  • The Apollo Ocean ship brought 40000 tonnes of LPG to New Mangalore Port.
  • At New Mangalore Port, the vessel Apollo Ocean delivered 40,000 tonnes of LPG
  • Two more crude oil vessels are expected to arrive there soon
  • At Chennai Harbour, a tanker carrying 100,000 tonnes of crude oil from Russia arrived on Thursday
  • Another vessel is scheduled to reach the port on Saturday
