Minister Nara Lokesh was shocked to hear about the bus accident in Kurnool district. He termed the accident as heart-wrenching and sent his heartfelt sympathies to the families of the deceased. He also wished the injured speedy recovery.
The accident happened on Friday morning when a Vemuri Kaveri Travels bus from Hyderabad to Bangalore was engulfed in flames after colliding with a bike. Nineteen individuals were burnt alive in the accident.
Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy has conveyed the accident in Kurnool district pained him deeply. He went to the spot of the accident to see the situation immediately. He condoled the loss of the dead with their families and stated the loss of a large number of lives pained him.
The minister ordered the officials to see to it that the injured are given proper treatment. He also ordered the transport department to conduct proper rescue operations at the spot.
Minister BC Janardhan Reddy watched the news of the bus accident and instructed district officials to arrange immediate medical aid to the victims. He made contact with officials during a visit to Dubai to find out more about the accident. He recommended the injured be shifted to Hyderabad if they needed advanced treatment.
He stated that the news of multiple passengers being burnt alive was deeply disturbing and termed the incident as extremely unfortunate. He offered condolences to the relatives of the deceased and stated that the government would provide full assistance to them.
Minister TG Bharat, touring Dubai at Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's side, was also deeply distressed by the Kurnool bus tragedy. The moment he heard of the accident, he personally called district officials to find out more about it. He condoled the loss of so many lives.
Ministers Anitha and Atchannaidu also expressed shock at the tragedy. They called upon officials to ensure that the injured passengers are given the best medical treatment.
