CM Revanth Reddy Invites Investment in Textile Sector

  • Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy asked entrepreneurs to support the state’s growth. He spoke at the Asia Textiles Conference which took place at HICC in Hyderabad.
  • India has a long history of textile production according to him. He added that Telangana holds a strong position in multiple sectors. The state aims to reach a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

Textile Industry Development Needs More Attention

Revanth Reddy said the government will provide full support to investors. He explained that textiles function as both an industry and a source of income for handloom weavers.

State officials established an essential mission which includes:

  • Development of Telangana into the South Asian textile capital
  • Support for both industrial and traditional textile sectors
  • Creation of employment opportunities for weavers and businesses

Hyderabad’s Expanding Global Role

  • The Chief Minister announced that Hyderabad has evolved into a prominent international hub for film productions. He confirmed that the government will continue to support the film industry.
  • He stated that environmental protection needs to remain the highest priority while industrial growth occurs.
