CM Pays Homage to Police Martyrs

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the police endanger their lives to uphold peace and security. He was the chief guest for the Police Martyrs' Commemoration program at Goshamahal Police Grounds. At the event, he paid homage to the officers who sacrificed their lives in serving the country.

Book Release and Support for Martyrs' Families

On the occasion, Chief Minister released the book 'Amarulu Varu' and gifted the first copy to DGP Shivdhar. He said the state celebrates Police Martyrs' Day annually to remember the courageous officers who offered their lives for society. The government, he added, will keep supporting the families of martyrs.

Government Initiatives for Police Welfare

CM Reddy has declared that homes are being allotted to martyred policeman families. He also promised full support to the family of officer Pramod, who just died in the line of duty. The Chief Minister has complimented the Telangana Police as among the best in the nation in many different departments.

Efforts to Enforce Law and Order

The Chief Minister observed that the police are busy thwarting anti-social activities. He spoke of special "Eagle" teams being formed to fight drug abuse in the state. He further stated that some Maoists have surrendered recently and asked the remaining members to come back to normal life.
