Amit Shah And Rajnath Singh Emphasize NDAs Development Vision For Bihar

Amit Shah Criticises RJD Over Women's Account Funds

  • Union Minister Amit Shah, while addressing voters in Darbhanga, asked the electorates to vote for the NDA alliance, as jungle raj will return in Bihar if the alliance loses. He pointed to complaints to the Election Commission by the RJD leaders to get withdrawn ₹ 10,000 deposit into women's accounts by the Bihar government.
  • Shah accused the RJD leadership of trying to misuse public money. He said that if Lalu Prasad Yadav’s grandfather were alive, he would also not be able to take that money. Shah said the Bihar Assembly election is a contest between the Modi-Nitish development model and the policies of RJD, which he linked with jungle raj.
  • He said that the NDA government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is working to provide all-round development in Bihar. The NDA government, if voted to power again, would allocate ₹26,000 crore for irrigation projects, flood prevention in Mithilanchal and for better use of Koshi river water.

Rajnath Singh Highlights NDA's Development Record

  • Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also said Bihar’s progress depends on NDA’s leadership. While addressing a rally in Vaishali district, he accused RJD leaders of making false promises to mislead voters.
  • Singh questioned how RJD would fund its promise of giving one government job to each family if it came to power. He compared financial support given to Bihar during different regimes and said that the UPA government gave only ₹2 lakh crore, while the NDA government provided ₹15 lakh crore over ten years.
  • He concluded that only the NDA has the vision and ability to ensure sustained development in Bihar.
