During a brief assembly discussion Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan examined the problem of adulterated ghee. The discussion focused on the Tirumala laddu adulteration case.
Pawan Kalyan referred to reports from government agencies. The NDDB report indicated that the ghee contained animal-related chemicals. The CBI report concluded that the substance was not pure ghee.
Pawan emphasized that this issue involves religious sentiments. He noted that respecting all religions is part of the country’s culture.
Pawan questioned why administrative changes were made on the same day the issue came to light. He suggested that this could indicate involvement of authorities in the matter. He stated that anyone guilty should face punishment.
