On Tuesday American cricketers visited the Tirumala Srivari temple which they attended during the VIP opening break of their schedule.
The USA team included three players who have Indian ancestry to perform temple service. Monank Patel Milind Kumar and Saurabh Netrawalkar played for the team. Temple officials received them and arranged darshan.
Darshan and Temple Rituals
The cricketers entered the temple to see the deity through darshan. They offered prayers and paid obeisance.
Ranganayakula Mandapam temple scholars granted their blessings to players who had completed darshan. The officials presented them with prasadam, the sacred offerings of the deity.
The USA captain Monank Patel praised the temple grounds because they maintained proper cleanliness standards. He also praised the maintenance of the surrounding areas.
