AP Cabinet Meeting Concludes With Key Decisions Approved

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, concluded after three and half hours of discussion. As many as 70 agenda items have been reviewed in the meeting. Major proposals approved by the Cabinet include:

  • Setting up the quantum computing system in the capital city of Amaravati.
  • Approvals relating to CRDA land allotments to different institutions.
  • Subsidy provisions for land allocation to promote new industries.
  • Filling-up of vacant posts in Revenue Department.

Chief Minister's Remarks

Thereafter, the Chief Minister addressed the ministers after the discussions on the agenda were completed. He thanked them for active participation during the Montha cyclone and immediate response in helping affected people. He said efficient coordination with officials ensured that relief services were provided on time.

The CM highlighted that due to constant monitoring, RTGS resulted in reduced loss of life and property. He remarked that this positive result was facilitated by effective teamwork and personally praised the ministers for commitment and collective effort.

Focus on Welfare and Revenue Management

The Chief Minister called upon the ministers and MLAs to ensure housing for all poor families. He asked them to prepare a list of people without homes and to ensure that every eligible person gets a house.

He underscored the need to convey the initiatives of the government to the public, as well. The CM instructed the officials to resolve the revenue issues without any delay and frame a policy to sort out such issues in less time.
