Bail Hearing For IBomma Ravi Continues In High Court

Public Prosecutor Palle Nageshwar Rao opposed the bail plea. He told the court that Ravi holds citizenship of Caribbean islands. He argued that there is a risk Ravi may flee abroad if bail is granted. The prosecutor also mentioned that the film industry continues to submit complaints about the I-Bomma website. According to him, the case requires additional investigation work.

Court Seeks Clarification

Ravi's lawyer responded that the police have already seized Ravi's passport. He argued that this prevents any possibility of Ravi leaving the country. The High Court required the Public Prosecutor to verify if the police had taken possession of the passport. The court adjourned the hearing to Monday.
