Bill Gates, who established the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, arrived at Gannavaram Airport on Monday while acting as the foundation's chairman. The airport reception included Nara Lokesh, Anitha, Atchennaidu, and Satyakumar together with district officials who awaited his arrival. The reception area led to the State Secretariat where the delegation traveled.
Bill Gates' special aircraft encountered temporary landing problems during the landing process. Fog in the area affected visibility. The aircraft had to keep flying in circles because of the situation. The aircraft achieved a safe landing at the airport after it received landing permission.
Meetings at the Secretariat
Six representatives from the foundation will accompany Bill Gates. The delegation will visit the Secretariat for official meetings.
They will meet with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Minister Nara Lokesh.
Bill Gates will visit the Real Time Governance Center (RTGS) at the Secretariat during his visit.
The Chief Minister will explain the RTGS policies and outline the results achieved through the system. The officials will present information about monitoring governance operations and enhancing service delivery processes to the audience.
Discussion on Development Projects
The Gates Foundation team will engage in discussions with the Chief Minister together with ministers and senior officials.
The meeting will center on expanding current education and healthcare and agricultural projects. The foundation will continue to support these sectors which the state government wants to develop further.
