Bill Gates Visits Amaravati And Meets Chief Minister Chandrababu
  • The Gates Foundation was established by Bill Gates who serves as its founder chairman. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu met Bill Gates at Amaravati. He arrived at Gannavaram Airport on Monday morning. He went to the State Secretariat after leaving Gannavaram Airport.
  • The Chief Minister Chandrababu welcomed him at the State Secretariat. The welcome ceremony included attendance from Deputy Chief Minister Pawan and various ministers. After the reception Gates Foundation officials conducted meetings with state officials.

Visit to Real Time Governance Center

The Real Time Governance (RTGS) Center at the Secretariat received a visit from Bill Gates. The Chief Minister detailed the RTGS system through its policies and operational results. He explained the system functions as a tool for monitoring operations and managing data while delivering public services.

Discussions on Development Projects

  • The meeting focused on developing projects which will expand across important sectors. The Gates Foundation and the state government collaborate to advance education and healthcare and agricultural development.
  • The Chief Minister expressed his intention to enhance these programs through increased funding. The Sanjeevani project which receives Gates Foundation funding was presented by him. The conversation focused on developing future work partnerships which will guide organizational execution.
