A book titled CBN@361 Degrees: Polymath was unveiled by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during a visit to Singapore. In fact the launch happened at an event organized by the Kakatiya Cultural Association, which is basically a community organization acknowledged by the Singapore government.
During the ceremony, Chandrababu Naidu handed over the first copies of the book to India’s High Commissioner to Singapore Shilpak Ambule, Andhra Pradesh Minister P. Narayana, and a few representatives from the Kakatiya Cultural Association.
The program gathered people from the Telugu community, plus public personalities and invited guests. The book launch kinda became a central part of the meet, still the theme leaned toward leadership, governance, and public service. Not only that, this occasion also gave participants a chance to talk about the notions laid out in the book, and how they fit into Andhra Pradesh development, more or less.
CBN@361 Degrees: Polymath was written by Sakhamuru Srinivasa Prasad, the Chief Editor of the daily newspaper Repati Kosam. The English version, however was translated by retired IAS officer K.V. Satyanarayana.
The book, in broad terms, looks at major decisions made by Chandrababu Naidu across different stages of his political journey. It also tries to map his leadership pattern and the rationale behind multiple policy initiatives.
As per the writer, the book explores how Chandrababu Naidu approached governance and the long-range planning behind it. There is discussion on calls taken in development, infrastructure and administration. The publication also includes views attributed to former Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (AP RERA) Chairman Ramanath.
One of the themes that’s discussed, sort of, in the book is how the development vision was built up for Andhra Pradesh. The author points out several efforts that lean toward economic growth, the expansion of infrastructure, and modernization as such, like they’re part of the same steady momentum.
It also looks into the way strategic planning got used, not just for quick outcomes, but to back long-term aims for the state. So, in a way it reads like a careful chain of decisions, with the future in mind.
Many notable guests attended the event. Among them were former AP RERA Chairman Ramanath, translator K.V. Satyanarayana, Shankara Prasad, and members of the Telugu community in Singapore.
Overall the gathering seemed to underline the ties between the Indian diaspora and developments happening in Andhra Pradesh, like the connections are staying very active.
