The Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, urged all nations to initiate immediate action on the rising issue of climate change. According to him, the world will have to act before extreme weather conditions pose serious challenges to humanity as a whole. He called on all countries to come together to work in harmony based on the Indian way of thinking: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam-a belief that the world is one family.
Naidu said this as a special guest during an awards function. Naidu praised the Institute of Directors, their 35 years of contribution to the corporate sector and more importantly, their international recognition. He expressed his happiness that the organization had honoured Bhuvaneswari for her contributions.
Bhuvaneswari was conferred with the Distinguished Fellowship–2025 award at the event. Other recipients of prestigious awards included Dr. Chigurupati Krishna Prasad, Professor Peter Bonfield and Harsh Beena Jhuveri. Naidu congratulated all the recipients and advised other companies and entrepreneurs to pursue ethical and value-based business principles helpful for the society.
He has invited business leaders from the United Kingdom to the Investor Partnership Conference to be held on the 14th and 15th of this month in Visakhapatnam. According to Naidu, these collaborations can bring new opportunities for sustainable development.
Naidu vigorously asserted that the onus of planning and looking to the future squarely rested with both the governments and the entrepreneurs. No aspect of development, he said, could truly be accomplished without vision and adaptability. As per him, plans and strategy were required to grow in tandem with global trends. Geographical, political, and climatic challenges demand foresight and strong planning.
