Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the state government’s aim was to make every poor person in Andhra Pradesh a house owner by 2029. He said it was the duty of the government to strengthen and empower women by turning them into entrepreneurs.
He launched the house distribution programme for 3 lakh houses in the state. The central event was held at Devagudipalli in Chinnamandem mandal, Annamayya district. House keys were distributed to several beneficiaries on this occasion. The inauguration was also conducted virtually across other regions of Andhra Pradesh.
During his speech, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that a house provides more than shelter; it ensures security for the future. He recalled that late N.T. Rama Rao was the first leader to build proper houses for the poor and said that the TDP still follows that mission.
The Chief Minister congratulated all beneficiaries and assured that the remaining houses will be completed and handed over shortly. He also reminded them of the recent foundation stone-laying ceremony for 97 new industries in Kanigiri, Prakasam district, highlighting his vision to create “an entrepreneur in every family.”
