CM Orders Action After Negligence Cases In Kakinada And Rajahmundry Hospitals

AP CM Chandrababu expressed concern over two medical negligence cases reported in the government hospitals of Kakinada and Rajahmundry. He instructed officials to identify the responsible staff and initiate strict action against them. He ordered a detailed investigation into the incidents and instructed the departments to prevent such issues in the future.

Kakinada GGH Case

At the Kakinada Government General Hospital, Malleswari, an 8-month pregnant woman from Gadimoga village in Tallarevu mandal, died reportedly because of the negligence of the medical staff. The Chief Minister asked the authorities to extend all help to the family of the victim and initiate responsibility among the staff concerned.

Rajahmundry Government Hospital Case

On November 8, a 55-year-old patient was administered expired medicines in Rajahmundry. The medicine had expired in October 2025. The condition of the patient deteriorated after administering the medicine. The Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction with the way the simple medical procedure was handled in the hospital and ordered immediate corrective action.
