Addressing the inaugural session of Palle Panduga 2.0 at Sivakoti in Rajolu mandal, Konaseema district, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said that the erstwhile YSRCP government had passed on debts and corruption, besides unmaintained infrastructure. Kalyan pointed out the potholed roads and canals that remained unrestored, stating, "You have every right to question." He promised, "It is our responsibility to bring light to your lives."
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar inaugurated Palle Panduga 2.0. Kalyan asserted that welfare development is the agenda of the coalition government headed by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The first phase of Palle Panduga in August last, for which the expenditure was Rs. 3,500 crore, is being followed by the second phase, Palle Panduga 2.0, with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 6,787 crore.

Kalyan claimed more significance to the development and welfare schemes for people who were born after 2000. He said free schemes can't guarantee votes, and there is a dire need for employment opportunities in State and national development. He advocated skill training for youth to stand on their own skills.
He also suggested that young people learn sports that teach resilience. Kalyan says political leaders should also undergo physical fitness tests. He told the cadre that respect for democracy is important and those parties or leaders trying to demolish democratic values will receive their consequences.
Kalyan allayed fears over political instability, drawing a parallel with what happened sometime ago in Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. If YSRCP continued in office, people may face the same situation, he said. He told the public that his government will be there for the next fifteen years. Media reports, which gave full support to the previous government, had criticized their acts of commission but asserted his administration did not indulge in looting or intimidation.
Kalyan said even SPG personnel deployed at the security of the Prime Minister remarked on the intense enthusiasm of Jana Sena cadres. He said big congregations and public support have been orderly and peaceful. He added that the gramotsavam was taken up partly as an answer to the past conflict contributed by the ruling parties.
