Nara Lokesh who serves as the Education and IT Minister announced that the DSC notification will be published soon according to the government job schedule. He shared this update while replying to questions in the Assembly.
Kurnool Region Needs Education And Employment Development
- The minister explained that the government provides special support for the development of backward areas which exist in the Kurnool Lok Sabha constituency. The response to MLA Eshwar Rao's question about the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan was given by him.
- He explained that salaries for employees under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan in Andhra Pradesh are higher compared to Telangana, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. Employees received their salaries through payment which occurred three times during the year. Employees now receive their salaries on the first day of each month.
- The salary revision matter will be discussed during the upcoming meeting with Central Government representatives.
- The minister declared that the government will establish seasonal hostels in Kurnool region according to their requirements.
Backward Area Support Functionality Together With Teacher Recruitment
- Nara Lokesh announced that the government discovered Adoni Aluru and Mantralayam areas suffered from backward conditions during the Yuvagalam program. The government provides industrial companies which establish their businesses in Kurnool region special incentives based on these observations.
- He confirmed that a significant number of teacher posts have been sanctioned for Kurnool district under the DSC recruitment. The area suffers from a low teacher-student ratio according to him. The government will focus on improving this ratio.
Kurnool Cluster University Receives Financial Support Through Allocated Funds
- The minister explained the Kurnool cluster university project to MLA Gowru Charitha Reddy who asked him about it.
- He said that ₹139 crore has been sanctioned for the university. Out of this amount, ₹55 crore has already been spent under the RUSA scheme.
- He further explained that ₹74.5 crore is required to complete the remaining works. The government will sanction the required funds and aims to complete the project in the next academic year.
