Nara Lokesh, the Andhra Pradesh Minister, declared that he paid for his personal expenses to attend the cricket match between India and Pakistan which took place in Colombo. He rejected allegations made by YSRCP-affiliated media that government money was used for the trip.
Lokesh shared his response on the social media platform X. He said that he paid for both his flight ticket and his match ticket. He questioned the criticism directed at him and denied any misuse of public funds.
Comments on YSRCP Legislative Council Strategy
Local Legislative Council proceedings showed Lokesh speaking about internal YSRCP matters. He said that party leader Botsa Satyanarayana has lost control over party members.
He spoke to the media in the Assembly lobby. He pointed out that two MLCs from the same party submitted separate adjournment motions. The motions described by Lokesh created opposing views. One motion sought discussion on alleged adulteration of laddu, while the other focused on Indapur Dairy.
The party will determine its main focus through observed activities. After the opposition party presents its Assembly strategy, his party will proceed with its response according to his statement.
