Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Prasanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi to participate in the centenary celebrations of Sathya Sai. PM Modi also visited the Sathya Sai Maha Samadhi, which is located in the Sai Kulwant Hall. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan accompanied him during the visit.
After visiting the ashram, the Prime Minister journeyed to Hill View Stadium. He will release a ₹100 commemorative coin and four postage stamps in recognition of the life, teachings, and service contributions of Sathya Sai Baba. Among the several other dignitaries to attend the function was cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and actress Aishwarya Rai.
