Comments on MLA Participation
Lokesh addressed members of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).He said no one will personally invite them to attend the Assembly. The elected members have to attend the session because it is their duty according to him.
He expressed disapproval of political activities that relate to religious customs. He stated that bringing religious issues onto public platforms is not appropriate. He said that conducting rallies inside the Legislative Assembly with images of God is objectionable.
Coalition MLCs Meet Council Chairman
Members of the coalition in the Legislative Council met Koyye Moshe Raju, Chairman of the Legislative Council, in his chamber.
The group requested that MLCs who entered the House wearing sandals and shoes while carrying pictures of God should be suspended. The Chairman of the Assembly received a request to create orderly Assembly operations that would also make good use of Assembly time.
