Nara Lokesh Urges Senior Leaders To Guide FirstTime MLAs

Call for Mentorship and Coordination Among MLAs

TDP National General Secretary and Minister Nara Lokesh said the first-time MLAs have still to learn what is right and what is wrong while discharging their duties. He reportedly attributed the lack of coordination among them to limited awareness and inexperience.

Conducting a meeting with several ministers at the Chief Minister’s camp office in Undavalli, Lokesh advised the senior MLAs and party leaders to guide and support the new members. He advised the newly elected MLAs to remember the ordeal on their way to victory and to learn from them to bring about improvement in their performance. If they correct their weaknesses, success can be sustained in the future elections, Lokesh said.

Investment Partnership Conference - Focus

He said that Visakhapatnam is going to host the Investment Partnership Conference on the 14th and 15th of this month, which is of paramount importance, and called for concerted efforts towards its success.

He said the conference might bring in investments of around ₹10 lakh crores to AP and create direct and indirect employment opportunities for lakhs of people. Lokesh told each minister that they should take responsibility for the agreements signed in their departments.

Responsibility in Development Programs

Lokesh also called upon the ministers to be active in the MSME parks programme slated for Tuesday. He directed the ministers and district in-charge ministers to see that new institutions are formed in their respective areas.

He concluded by saying that the commitment of the government to create 20 lakh jobs should be fulfilled as soon as possible.
