The NDA government has been formed in Bihar. JDU leader Nitish Kumar took the oath as Chief Minister of the state for the tenth time on Thursday.
The swearing-in at Patna's Gandhi Maidan saw Nitish Kumar being joined by a host of ministers, with the likes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and JP Nadda being among those in attendance. This also includes Chief Ministers representing NDA-ruled states, one of them being Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Nitish Kumar was elected the leader of the NDA legislative party on Wednesday. Senior leaders called on him after his election. Nitish met Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and submitted his resignation before taking the oath.
