PM KisanAnnadata Sukhibhava Funds Set For Release On The 19th

Funding Distribution Throughout the State

The funds related to PM Kisan-Annadata Sukhibhava will be released on the 19th of this month. For every eligible farmer, Rs. 2,000 will be deposited by the Central government and Rs. 5,000 will be deposited by the State government. Chief Minister Chandrababu will release the funds in a program at Kamalapuram, YSR Kadapa district.

In the latest announcement, Rs. 3,135 crore would be credited to the accounts of 46.86 lakh farmers. The scheme gave Rs. 3,174 crore in the first installment that was released in August this year. Across two installments, the total expenditure by the Central and State governments would be Rs. 6,309.44 crore. The CM Chandrababu also asked MPs, MLAs, and ministers of both the governments to attend the programmes being organised across the state.

Live Telecast at Farmer Service Centers

CM Chandrababu Naidu instructed officials to telecast the fund release event at over 10,000 Rythu Seva Kendras (RSKs). He said the programme should explain both the fund transfer and the State's plans for agriculture. Farmers are to be clearly informed about agritech, demand-based crop cultivation, market access, natural farming, soil testing, and price improvement through food processing.

Advance Messages to Farmers

Agriculture Minister Atchannaidu instructed the officials to intimate the farmers in advance on the release of the funds. He gave these orders during a video conference with the Agriculture Department officials from Tekkali, Srikakulam district. He said a toll-free number should be available to answer the farmers' questions. He also stressed the need to update the records in cases where eligible farmers have died so that their heirs get the benefit. Complaints from farmers who did not receive the first installment will be reviewed to ensure eligible beneficiaries receive the funds.
