Proposals Submitted For Educational Facilities Work To Begin Soon Says Minister Lokesh

Proposals Sent to Finance Department

  • Minister Nara Lokesh announced that the government has sent proposals to the Finance Department. The proposals focus on enhancing educational facilities throughout multiple state educational institutions. He stated that the approval process is underway. He added that the work will start immediately after they receive project approval.
  • The ministers answered questions which members asked during the Question Hour in the Legislative Assembly. The discussion examined education together with water supply and irrigation and administrative matters.

No Proposal for Triple IT in Puttaparthi

  • MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy requested the establishment of a Triple IT institution in Puttaparthi. She requested that the government provide better facilities to the colleges located in her electoral district.
  • Minister Lokesh explained that Puttaparthi currently lacks any proposals for establishing a Triple IT facility. He promised the House that he would share this issue with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Drinking Water Needs in Tirupati

  • MLA Arani Srinivasulu identified the increasing demand for drinking water within Tirupati. He reported that more devotees now visit the temple town. He asked the government to assess Galeru-Nagari and Handri Neeva projects water distribution systems.
  • The government intends to boost water distribution according to Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu. The system expansion will fulfill requirements for both increasing population and incoming visitors.

Lift Irrigation Scheme in Bobbili

MLA Babynayana expressed his concerns about the Locharla Sivadavalasa lift irrigation scheme which operates in Bobbili constituency. He requested information about the current status of the project.
