The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu required his officials to execute government programs at their fundamental operational level. He gave these instructions during a review meeting which took place at the Secretariat with ministers and department secretaries. District Collectors and Superintendents of Police participated in the meeting through video conference.
Review of Development and Governance Initiatives
- The Chief Minister performed an assessment of various vital sectors. The assessment investigated Gross State Domestic Product growth rate together with Swarnandhra 2047 Vision targets and ten-point development program and revenue-earning departments and state investment and public-private partnership project advancement.
- The Real-Time Governance framework served as the basis for officials to assess administration technology adoption. The discussion included public awareness campaigns and data security measures and artificial intelligence tools that support governance and action plans for centrally sponsored schemes and skill development programs intended for young people. The review also included progress on the “One Family–One Entrepreneur” policy. The Chief Minister provided officials with his direction regarding these matters.
Administrative Reviews and Technology Development
The Chief Minister announced that his government now performs regular evaluations at all administrative levels. The Chief Minister said that district collectors have to conduct their meetings every three months while cabinet meetings take place two times each month. He required officials to conduct their departmental evaluations on a monthly schedule. He explained that District Collectors and In-charge Ministers need to establish effective work practices for their administrative responsibilities.
Quantum Computing and Future Technologies
- Chandrababu Naidu highlighted global trends in green energy and green hydrogen. He stated that the foundation stone for a quantum computing facility has been laid in Amaravati. He said quantum computers will be manufactured there within two years and supplied to global markets.
- He added that technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and data centers will create major changes in governance and development. Officials later briefed the Chief Minister on the progress made by their respective departments.
