At the Secretariat on Monday, the Chief Minister went through the preparations with ministers, the Chief Secretary and other senior officials. Instructing that since it was an officially organised programme by the government, there should be no lapses either in planning or implementation, he said Puttaparthi should be attractively decorated, and a committee of ministers should personally inspect the site.

Further, Naidu directed the officials to estimate the number of devotees attending and make arrangements according to it. He asked for adequate transportation facilities, stating that RTC buses should be operated in coordination with traffic management. At the same time, he stressed that sanitation should be maintained without negligence.
