To mark Constitution Day, students conducted a mock assembly at Amaravati. The programme was held at the Assembly premises. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh graced the program.
In the mock assembly:
- M. Leela Gautam from Manyam district served as Chief Minister.
- Soumya from Manyam district acted as Leader of the Opposition.
- From Visakhapatnam district, Kodi Yogi was the Deputy Chief Minister.
- The role of Education Minister was taken by Chinmayi from Tirupati district.
- Swathi from Kakinada district served as the Speaker.
Topics at the assembly covered social media regulation and environment protection bills. The program was broadcast live in 45,000 schools.
Congratulations to Students from Leaders
- CM Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the students and explained the significance of the Constitution. He said every citizen must protect its values. He added that the Constitution provides a strong foundation for Indian democracy. He also stated that it guides efforts to build a developed Andhra Pradesh and a strong India.
- Constitution Day greetings were conveyed by Minister Nara Lokesh. He said that the Constitution is a pivotal pillar for citizens’ rights. He explained that the Education Department is promoting Constitution Day in a new way by organizing a student assembly with government school students.
