The Supreme Court conveyed its displeasure to Praja Shanti Party President K.A. Paul. He filed a petition challenging the proposed move of the Andhra Pradesh government to establish medical colleges under the PPP model.
A bench headed by Justice Suryakant made an observation that the petition was filed primarily for media publicity rather than any serious legal grievance. The bench asked K.A. Paul to approach the Andhra Pradesh High Court if he wanted to pursue the matter further.
