The state is all done with making districts and revenue divisions. Now they are giving jobs to the Collectors, Joint Collectors, Superintendents of Police Additional Superintendents of Police Revenue Divisional Officers and other people who will help them. The state will start doing all the work from the district headquarters this Wednesday. The new districts and revenue divisions will have the Collectors and other staff, like Superintendents of Police and Revenue Divisional Officers working from the district headquarters.
G. Sai Prasad, who is the Special Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department made some decisions on Tuesday. He gave orders for the Revenue Department. The Revenue Department is going to have two districts now. The Revenue Department will also have five new revenue divisions. Some other areas of the Revenue Department are going to change. The government has also sent out gazette notifications about these changes, to the Revenue Department.
New Revenue Divisions
- Addaroad Junction, Anakapalli District
- Addanki, Prakasam District
- Pileru, Annamayya District
- Madakasira, Sri Sathya Sai District
- Banaganapalle, Nandyal District
Railway Kodur Moves to Tirupati District
The Railway Kodur area, which was part of Annamayya district is now going to be part of Tirupati district.
The Railway Kodur area will have some areas that will be part of the Tirupati revenue division these are
- Kodur
- Penagaluru
- Chitvelu
- Pullampeta
- Obulavaripalle.
So the Railway Kodur constituency and these smaller areas will now be, in Tirupati district.
Rajampet has been added to the YSR Kadapa District
- This means that Rajampet is now a part of the YSR Kadapa District. The YSR Kadapa District now includes Rajampet.
- The Rajampet constituency and revenue division, which was in Annamayya district is now going to be part of YSR Kadapa district.
- The Rajampet constituency and revenue division has a few mandals like Nandaluru, Rajampet constituency and revenue division, Veeraballi and T. Sundupalli.
- Some other mandals like Ontimitta and Siddavatam were already, in Kadapa revenue division.
- Now the YSR Kadapa district will have a total of five revenue divisions including the Rajampet constituency and revenue division.
The Mandapeta Constituency is now a part of the East Godavari District
- This means that the Mandapeta Constituency is located in the East Godavari District. The Mandapeta Constituency has become a part of the East Godavari District. People who live in the Mandapeta Constituency will now be connected to the East Godavari District. The Mandapeta Constituency is an area, in the East Godavari District.
- The Mandapeta constituency is going to be part of East Godavari district. It was earlier in Ambedkar Konaseema district. The Mandapeta constituency has some mandals like Mandapeta and Rayavaram and Kapileswarapuram. These mandals, in the Mandapeta constituency will be moved from the Ramachandrapuram revenue division to the Rajamahendravaram revenue division.
The Kandukur and Addanki constituencies are now part of the Prakasam district
- This change affects the Kandukur and Addanki constituencies. The Kandukur and Addanki constituencies have been moved to the Prakasam district.
- The Addanki constituency is going to be a part of Prakasam district. It used to be in Bapatla district. A new office that handles money matters will be set up at Addanki. This office will be, in charge of the Addanki constituency and the Darsi constituency.
- The Kandukur constituency, along with its revenue division, from Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district, will also move to Prakasam district. Additionally, three mandals from the Gudur constituency, currently in Tirupati district, will be transferred to Nellore district.
