The meeting of Andhra Pradesh Cabinet is in session. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is presiding over it. Several crucial policy matters are under discussion.
The Cabinet cleared the package works of Amaravati Capital City. This would be funded by World Bank and ADB. The road, drainage and water supply works in the capital region were approved.
The Cabinet approved a stamp duty exemption within the Tirupati Urban Development Authority limits and cleared proposals for underground drainage and NTP works in the Mangalagiri–Tadepalli area.
The Cabinet approved the implementation of DA hike for the government employees, as well as an ordinance pertaining to renaming of village and ward secretariats.
The discussions on reorganisation of districts are expected to come up for discussion during the meeting. Many other issues are being discussed as the Cabinet session is in continuum.
