The Congress party held an online meeting to discuss the Telangana municipal elections. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy joined the Zoom meeting from the United States and provided guidance to party leaders.
The event included participation from PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud party state affairs in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and DCC presidents who attended together with ministers and senior leaders. The Chief Minister provided instructions for upcoming activities after the nomination process reached its conclusion.
Candidate Selection and Coordination Needs to Become the Primary Focus
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized that the elections should be treated seriously. Candidate selection requires the process to be conducted with precise decision-making. He stated that Congress candidates need to match the competitive strength of BJP and BRS candidates.
He stated that success in all divisions and wards holds significance. Party workers need to work together with rebels because this approach will help them to establish better connections. The party needs to concentrate on municipalities where its electoral strength remains weak. Revanth Reddy also stressed that there should be no communication gap between constituency in-charges and ministers.
