Minister Lokesh, currently on a tour to the United States to attract investments, conducted meetings with representatives of a number of companies. He made a PowerPoint presentation on the investment opportunities available in the state. He announced the creation of an escrow account to incentivize the companies within a fixed period and invited the companies to become partners in the development of the state.
Minister Lokesh requested the Creative Land Asia, founder Sajanraj Kurup, senior partner Iang Copping and American film director Shik Russell to immediately commence the Creative Land Project - Amaravati as agreed to in the already signed agreement. "We should collaborate and work together on developing Amaravati as a modern transmedia city with AI-based virtual studios and AR/VR theme parks," he said. The company representatives announced that the construction works would commence within two years as per the agreement signed with the State government in May last year. Minister Lokesh added that the project had the potential to attract investment to the tune of ₹10,000 crores and provide jobs to 1.5 lakhs people.
He invited Canva to partner with Creative Land Asia to conduct training and skill development in Amaravati. Minister Lokesh met Chief Customer Success Officer Rob Giglio and Head of Education and Public Sector Jason Will Matt representing Canva. The company representatives informed him that Canva was offering its services in 190 countries. They said they would examine the proposals that come from the government of Andhra Pradesh with their senior leadership before taking a decision.
Minister Lokesh invited Dev Patel, Chief Technologist of Auto Desk Design and Innovation Academy, and Allison Ross, Senior Director at Auto Desk, to establish an academy in Amaravati. He said, “Amaravati is developing with BIM technology. The academy can provide training and research in digital fabrication and sustainable design. Auto Desk should offer CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) support to ensure buildings in the coastal area withstand storms.” Auto Desk representatives responded that they would review the proposals and make a decision. Quantum Research Centre Proposal Minister Lokesh called on Righetti Computing to set up a quantum computing research department in Amaravati. He had a meeting with the firm's Chief Technology Officer, David Rivas. Lokesh sought their cooperation to make AP the first quantum-ready State in the country by integrating Righetti Cloud quantum systems into the government's digital infrastructure project.
