MAJOR INVESTMENTS APPRO
The projects approved by the Cabinet would generate jobs for more than one lakh people. The amount invested as per the approved projects includes quantum computing, information and communications technology, solar energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and biofuels. Proposals have also been received regarding hospitality projects, hotels, and convention centers.
The Cabinet reviewed the decisions made previously in SIPB and approved them. The total investment value sanctioned touched Rs. 16,060 crore. New projects will be set up in the upcoming Quantum Valley at Amaravati. Seven projects for quantum computing will be among them. The Cabinet also sanctioned L-1 for constructing Lok Bhavan at Amaravati. Construction would start with approval for the L-1 tender. All these matters have been disclosed by Kolusu Parthasarathy, Information and Public Relations Minister.

The Cabinet cleared a subsidy amount of Rs. 20,000 for backward classes with a consumption of not more than 200 units of electricity per month for a 2 kW rooftop solar solar energy system. The proposal put forth by Andhra Pradesh New Renewable Energy Development Corp. would be an additional government aid. The total project cost would be Rs. 5,445 crores.
Revenue Department Reforms
The Chief Minister directed the revenue authorities to address all pending complaints within a period of one year. The authorities have to deal with matters relating to doctored documents, disputes arising from inherited property, and abuse of authority. It is essential for all documents to be checked and stored in cloud storage.
Jal Jeevan Mission Project Updates
The Cabinet approved orders dated November 28 regarding the revision of estimates for 506 Panchayat Raj projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission, valued at Rs. 9,514.63 crore. It also cleared the implementation of the LS method for more efficient completion of remaining 281 projects.
Amaravati Infrastructure Approvals
The Cabinet authorized the agreement-building process with L1 bidders on the Governor's Bungalow project, named Lok Bhavan, within the Amaravati Government Complex. The structure will comprise the Governor's dwelling, Durbar Hall, office, two guest houses, and quarters.
A third approval was obtained for awarding L1 tenders for construction works involving the construction of an elevated six-lane corridor. The Corridor will link the E3 road at Amaravati with NH-16 and would comprise interchanges, bridges, and under passes.
Water Facilities for Kuppam
The Cabinet cleared the revised estimate of Rs. 15.96 crore for constructing four check dams on the Palar River. Building check dams will help farmers in the drought-affected area. The projects will be implemented in Kuppam constituency.
Promotions among Teachers and Employees
The Cabinet cleared promotional appointments for 221 Telugu scholars, 91 Hindi scholars, and 99 physical education teachers working in tribal welfare ashram schools as school assistants.
Administrative and Legal Actions
Administrative and The Cabinet approved orders relating to the re-constitution of Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Board. It also cleared a draft bill relating to giving effect to the Model Prisons Act, 2023.
