The state government cleared the land allocation for Google's proposed data centre at Visakhapatnam. It also agreed to extend incentives for the proposed 1,000 MW AI Data Center by Raiden Infotech India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Google, and its notified partners. The land transfer in favour of Raiden and its partners for developing the new data center campus has been confirmed through an official order. It also mentions that commercial action would be initiated against Raiden or any of its notified partners if the project was not completed in time without sufficient reasons.
Raiden intends to invest USD 15 billion to develop a data center facility conforming to global standards. It said it would keep the project under continuous observation for its timely and quality completion.
Raiden asked APIIC to transfer these lands to Adani Infra (India) Private Limited, the main notified partner. It said that internal land transfers may take place later depending upon the project requirement.
Rambilli lands: Proposed for transfer to NXTRA DATA or its affiliates for data center development.
Tarluvada, Adivivaram, and Mudasarlova lands: Proposed to be transferred to Adani Connects or its affiliates.
Notified Partnerships for the Project

The government said it would provide incentives to build the data centres and its supporting ecosystem. However, for partnerships, there needs to be prior approval, and for the incentive, partners will need to invest.
The data center will be managed at the same service level as Google Search, YouTube, and Workspace. In case any partner pulls out, Raiden shall inform the government and make the land transfer necessary to sustain the project's progress.
