PPP Model: Clarification Needed
- The Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, asserted that the government will fully own and control all the newly established government medical colleges. The Chief Minister explained that these colleges belonged to the government. The management of these colleges alone has been contracted out to private companies through the Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme.
- “The Parliamentary Standing Committee has already supported our PPP model, which is a proper approach in today’s situation to construct hospitals and colleges,” he said. It will help improve the education sector by providing a boost to quality, said Shafiq.
Ownership by the Government Stays the Same
- According to the Chief Minister, many of the projects carried out through infrastructure fall under the PPP model and entail the following characteristics: - The infrastructure belongs to the government - The company runs the infrastructure for a set number of years between 10-20 years - The infrastructure is then returned to the government

Chandrababu Naidu made these comments while he addressed the Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu Self-Sacrifice Day function. The function was held on Monday at Tummulapalli Kalakshetram in Vijayawada.
Three Capitals Policy
The Chief Minister expressed his disapproval of the “three capitals" scheme that was brought in by the previous government of YSRCP. “It led to confusion, resulting in the state being without a capital,” he said. “Now it has clearly realized that Amaravati is its capital,” he added.
Plans for Development of Large Cities
- Chandrababu Naidu commented that Amaravati is being made a future-ready city. In addition to Amaravati, the government will also develop: - Visakhapatnam - Growth Center for North Andhra - Tirupati - Development Center for Rayalaseema

Investments and Economic Progress
- The Chief Minister further added that Andhra Pradesh has attracted investment worth ₹21 lakh crores in the previous 18 months. The Chief Minister was citing a Reserve Bank of India report, according to which the state topped in terms of: - Fruit production - Fish production

Emphasis on Knowledge / Industry
Chandrababu Naidu stated that Hyderabad was previously developing into a knowledge economy. He said that the same development would also occur in the province of Andhra Pradesh through the integration of industry, agriculture, and education.
