A really tragic incident at the Visakha Steel Plant in Visakhapatnam ended up with multiple deaths and injuries, and honestly it left everyone shaken. On Tuesday morning, State Ministers Nara Lokesh, Anitha, and Sandhya Rani visited King George Hospital (KGH) in Visakhapatnam. They were accompanied by Union Minister Srinivasa Varma, MP Sri Bharat, TDP State President Palla Srinivasa Rao, Chintakayala Vijay, and a few other leaders as well.
During the visit, the group spoke with the family members of the victims and also listened to what those impacted by the accident were going through.
The delegation reviewed what was happening at the hospital, and they collected details about how the injured workers were doing. They also met relatives of the deceased, and conveyed condolences in a calm but firm way, like they meant it.
Right now, the authorities have put together a committee to look into what exactly led to the Visakhapatnam fire accident. This group is expected to dig into the reasons behind the incident, and then later submit their findings.
As Lokesh said, any further steps will be decided after the committee report is out. He added that proper actions will be taken against anyone who is found responsible, based on what the investigation concludes.
