Videos showcasing impatient passengers at airports are doing the rounds on social media. Sonu Sood has spoken up on the matter, appealing to people to respect the airline staff.
Sood, in a video message posted on X, said:
- The disruptions of IndiGo flights have caused inconvenience to the passengers in the last two-three days.
- His family waited for almost five hours until their flight finally departed.
- Other flights had been cancelled, where people were unable to attend weddings and meetings.
- Delays in flights upset the passengers.
- Sood explained the challenges ground staff at airports face:
- When the passengers get angry, the staff do not know how to react.
- They feel frustrated and helpless; they don't control flight schedules.
- Their role is to convey messages from the airline's management.
He asked passengers to put themselves in the staff's position and to respect them, as cancellations and delays affected them too.
