Team India will compete in their fifth T20 match against New Zealand which will take place in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. The Indian team has arrived in the city for the match.
Playful Moment Between Suryakumar and Sanju
- At the airport Captain Suryakumar Yadav playfully teased wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson. Suryakumar walked ahead to the team bus while he told people to "Move aside… no photos… nobody disturb him… move aside." The staff members present in the area laughed while Sanju smiled at the comment.
- Suryakumar told Sanju to "Loading God's Own Country" which prompted Sanju to reply "Feeling great." The BCCI shared this video on social media.
Team India’s T20 Series and World Cup Plans
India has already won the five-match T20 series against New Zealand 3-1. The team aims to win the final match as well. The T20 World Cup victory would enable India to start their campaign with a positive victory. The T20 World Cup begins on February 7th. India will play their first match in the tournament against the USA at Wankhede Stadium.
