The two-day TDP Mahanadu conclave kickstarted with a big, kind of overwhelming kind of participation, from party workers and supporters across Andhra Pradesh . During the opening session, TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu spoke on the party’s past, welfare work, women’s upliftment efforts, and what the state should aim for in the coming days, development plans basically.
Chandrababu said that while the vehicular flow toward the venue looked lesser than in earlier years ,the vibe among party cadres stayed very strong. He added that lakhs of people showed up on the first day through 1,875 clusters and it looked like a proper coordinated effort.
He also mentioned that the crowd showed the same backing for the Telugu Desam Party, along with its organizational network spanning the whole state.
In his speech, Chandrababu said the National Flag stands for the pride of the country, while the yellow flag reflects the self-confidence of Telugu people.
He described the Telugu Desam Party as a political formation that brought reforms, and pushed “Vision Politics.” He further said that even as a regional party, it carved out a key place in national politics.
Chandrababu also recalled how the formation of the TDP, its election wins ,and the growing public support became some of the notable chapters in political history.
Speaking as the TDP chief , he said every party worker has a duty to protect the trust given by the people. He also touched on the party’s long political road over the last 45 years .
He said the party went on with its political struggles, even while it was dealing with violence and legal cases , and also with political pressure over the years. From his words, party workers stayed determined and loyal even in the toughest times.
Chandrababu also talked about the alliance involving TDP, BJP and Janasena for the coming elections. He claimed the joining is meant to move in one direction and cooperate for rebuilding and progress in Andhra Pradesh, that’s what he emphasized.
The Chief Minister said the government is prioritizing women’s safety and security. He added that strict measures will be applied against crimes that target women. He further stated that the administration is taking a firm stand against marijuana and other drug-related operations. He said officials will continue taking action against people linked to illegal and anti-social activities.
Chandrababu said the government is stressing actual implementation and doing things on time. He stated that dates have already been locked in for launching 288 projects spanning different sectors.
As per him, the administration is focused on long term infrastructure growth and economic rebuilding across Andhra Pradesh, rather than just short term activity.
