On Thursday, during the second day of the party’s Mahanadu conference, several Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders, elected representatives, and supporters came forward to announced, financial contributions. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also publicly acknowledged the donors, and he thanked them for supporting the party, basically.
AP Technological Services Chairman Mannava Mohan Krishna gave ₹27 lakh. MP Daggumalla Prasada Rao contributed ₹10 lakh, while Minister Gummidi Sandhya Rani donated ₹5 lakh.
One more highlight was Nikhila, daughter of MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu, who decided to give her very first salary—₹42,000.
Among MLAs, Pulivarthi Venkata Mani Prasad (Nani) handed over ₹19 lakh. Bojjala Sudheer Reddy gave ₹15 lakh.
A bunch of leaders, including Daggupati Venkateswara Prasad, Gurajala Jagan Mohan, Kurugondla Ramakrishna, Mamidi Govinda Rao, and Narendra Varma each announced ₹10 lakh.
Gummanur Jayaram, Sriram Rajagopal, and Paritala Sunitha contributed ₹5 lakh, each.
Other donations included, Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary and Pasham Sunil at ₹2 lakh each. Maddipati Venkata Raju gave ₹1.75 lakh. PGVR Naidu (Ganababu), Tenali Sravan Kumar, and K. Murali Mohan donated ₹1 lakh each.
Party officials said they collected ₹25.61 crore in those two days of the Mahanadu event.
As per party leaders, ₹12.44 crore was collected on the first day and ₹13.17 crore on the second day.
During the session, Chandrababu Naidu announced the names of the donors and praised ,their backing for the party.
Addressing party members, the Chief Minister said party workers back the organization in different manners. He noted some people help through social media, while others extend direct support or give financial help.
He also recalled that the act of collecting donations has been going on since the days of former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao (NTR).
Naidu said the party earlier used donation boxes to collect support from workers and sympathizers. He encouraged members to continue helping the party financially.
